Forbidden Planet

from Boat by BOAT

/

about

4 track recording, Inspired directly by the 1999 Sign of Four album by Pat Metheny and Derek Bailey, where most of the audience purportedly walked out. This is therefore not for the feint hearted; it is an experiment in extreme density. These sounds remind me of one of my favourite movies of all time, Forbidden Planet, specifically at the end of the movie, where the genius scientist´s unconscious feelings and jealousy over his daughters love for the captain start to melt the steel doors.
