Motorway (Steve Cournane)

from Dancing Queen by Steve Cournane

about

A groove piece that was written many years ago for a protest concert against a new motorway in the capital of New Zealand. I like the simple yet effective form for the solos and I think the two brothers, Callwood, both play beautifully on this composition. Joe extracts a particularly lovely guitar tone out of a very small, almost pignose size amplifier, and Tom's bass solo is wonderful.
